This research group is composed of
about 50 people, including 12 PhD students. It is one of the four
groups of the IECL.
I was the head of the research group
Analysis
and Number Theory between
January 2013 and September 2014. Recently, between June 2014 and
June 2018,
I chaired the mathematics department on the campus of Metz of the
Université de Lorraine.
Between January 2011 and December 2015, I was the french
responsible of the program
Partenariat Hubert Curien (
PHC - Cogito)
with Professor
Pavle
Pandzic
at the
University of
Zagreb in Croatia. Since 2011, I am the leader for the
campus of Metz of the research group
GDR
"Algebraic and Geometric Lie Theory".
My research interests are within the
fabulous world of Lie theory, especially (non-commutative)
harmonic analysis on Lie groups and their homogeneous spaces,
Representation theory and its applications. They may be summarized
by the following key phrases:
Harmonic analysis on homogeneous spaces,
Representations of reductive Lie
groups,
Cubic Dirac operators on
reductive homogeneous spaces,
Dirac cohomology and
cohomological induction,
Associated varieties and algebraic cycles,
Quantization and
approximation of nilpotent orbits,
Spectrum and invariants of locally symmetric spaces,
L2-cohomology of locally
symmetric spaces,
Heat kernel for homogeneous
bundles over locally symmetric spaces,
Invariant differential operators on homogeneous spaces.
